It is very accessible to Edinburgh (an hour) and Newcastle (1 ½ hrs) and there is so much to see and do in the Borders.

This family home has a large garden and access to lovely walks from the village.

828sitThe Tweed, the world’s best salmon river, is only 8 or so miles away. There are many golf courses in the area, including the fantastic course at Roxburgh. The courses in East Lothian and North Northumberland are also within easy reach.

Guests are welcome to sit in or stroll round the garden and we can arrange a permit to fish for trout in the Blackadder River.

There is wonderful riding to be had in the area and stabling is available if you wish to bring your horse. We do not provide horses for guests to ride, unfortunately, as we only have two competition horses. Horses coming to stay should have up to date flu injections.
